Bone, that is a Google Ad. We don't pick what shows up, Google's bots read our content and run ads that allegedly fir our demo. Prolly has something to do with Red Sox talk in the forums, and Pedroia/Papelbon kicking ass in our biggest asshole bracket.

Emailed Google to see if theres a way I can prevent Red Sox shit from showing up on the site. Thanks for the heads up.

I had the opposite take, I was going to applaud Rich for taking some money from some Boston merchandisers knowing that not a single cent would be spent by members of the site. But if it's from Google, it's another sign that America wants EVERYONE to root for the Red Sox.

I've heard these google adds sometimes carry spyware/adware. Not sure if this is connected but ever since I noticed that new banner below the forums my virus protection has been removing stuff everytime. And It's not like I have been visiting any different sites.
