We will be going on early because of the OSU game. 7pm to 8pm
Former Buckeye and UFC Hall of Famer Mark Coleman is set to join as of now.
Chris Arreola was just confirmed also.

No Arreola with no explanation.
Coleman came on and was great.

What do you think his chances are against Shogun? It's impossible to tell if Shogun is anywhere near his 2005 self, seeing as how he's been injured or losing or both for going on three years. Coleman's a known commodity. He's solid, but old. If Rua is 100% and back to his old self, the light heavyweight division is going to be really interesting the next couple years.

Machida, Evans, Rampage, Forrest, and Rua all gunning for the title. Yikes.

It's a very interesting fight just because we haven't seen either guy much recently.
Coleman was great in the past but has suffered some big KO losses. Those were all at heavyweight however.
Shogun looked horrible against Forrest.
There is some bad blood in this also so I'm very excited for it. Coleman has always been one of my favorite fighters.
If Shogun comes in prepared and in shape, he should win but I would love to see "The Hammer" beat him down.

I'm not sure if you saw the fight or now, but Shogun worked him over, but gassed in an embarassing fashion. At one point he had an omoplata locked in, but was too tired to turn he or Coleman's body enough to submit him. So instead, he sat on the mat for a minute and a half and let the round expire.

Coleman performed admirably. I don't like him. I never have. But I thought he was toast in the first round, and he surprised me by actually scoring a bunch of takedowns, and showing the chin of a hall of famer. That said, Dana White cannot let him fight anymore, unless it's against a guy like Couture, a methodical mauler like himself. It's dangerous having Coleman stand and take blow after blow from young, fast Muay Thai specialists like Rua.

Rua's striking was good. But the guy is never going to compete at a high level again with the cardio he put on display Saturday.

Coleman showed a ton heart, he was out of gas really quick. It was his first ever fight at 205 which everybody is fogetting.
Rua has been bad and hasn't impressed me yet since he got to the UFC.
I know he has been injured in the past but that isn't an excuse anymore for me.
They somehow got co-fight of the night. They got that based on their names and reputations.
I like both guys to be honest but at this point not sure I want to see either guy again.
