does he have a lisp? talk like mike tyson?

will triv have the balls to ask him why he is afraid of a press conference?

Triv is a pussy, he only gets these interviews because he wont ask a tough question and just strokes them off throughout it with softballs
In the end, we're all "only for a limited time," you guys.

He sounded normal.

Anyone who wants to hear it, I suggest you go to WTAM.com later on tonight and get the On Demand and Hour 2 of Triv's show today.

Interesting comments on why he felt a coach hire was more important now than a GM. Felt coach was needed now to get going and set up his staff before those people went elsewhere. Also that GM duties more around FA and Draft, so not as time sensitive. Said they are going to interview more GM candidates, some that are still in the playoffs some that are not.

Also, after Triv asked about it, he admitted to immediately being fascinated with mangini when he was told during the private press conference last week that he was fired. For those that don't know, during the presser a media person mentioned Mangini was available and Lerner glowed and almost looked like he was going to jump out of his chair with excitement. Anyway, Randy said he was so excited because "it is an anamoly to get a head coach just starting out his pro career with 2 of 3 winning seasons".

I thought the interview was hilarious. Guy can really bust some balls, and the stories of him and Shapiro were great. I really like this guy.

So much for being standoffish with the media. Mangini was hilarious, and made a great first impression.

Maybe he's learned from some of those rookie coach mistakes...

The part about sending the Jets scouts over to the Indians to learn about the Indians scouting system was very interesting.

He basically said everything that he said during his press conference. He mostly explained his relationship with his brother in law (shapiro), and fielded stupid questions from Triv like "will you please win?" and "please answer me this....can you work with pioli?" The pioli question is a good question, but we already know the answer. Of course, as expected, Mangini gave a politically correct answer which is dancing around the question without giving an answer.

Unfortunately because there is no alternative.

Triv always has Browns and Indians folks on.

And the alternative is Munch/Roda on WKRN, who I can't stand more than Triv.

Radio sucks in this town.

add Brinda to that KNR list

funny how Lerner was on w/ Munch about 15 minutes after his interview w/ Triv. Of course Munch tried to spin it like he was getting an exclusive just for you, the fans. Jammies must've been making the rounds yesterday. I'm shocked I didn't hear him on the Brian and Joe show this morning.
Galley Boys are slop on top of a so-so burger and a bun you coulde get from a Covneninet food mart generic pack. They the Antoine Joubert of burgers; soft, sloppy, oozing grease and cheap sauce and extremely overrated by a biased fan base. Proof that if you throw enough cheap sauce shit on a burger you still can't overcome the lame burger. -JB

No, but I'm sure I can pull off a fair impersonation.

"Uh... uh... and and and..."

Now we know why he doesn't do video interviews.

Triv may be a sack of monkey shit. But monkey shit makes for good radio. Most other shows are bland. Its the same thing that made Howard so successful.

My opinion of RL is that he is one of us. A fan. Someone that bases his information on what he reads and what he hears on talk radio. I think he kind of knows what it takes to make a winning team (chemistry, everybody on the same page) but doesn't have a clue on how to make that happen.
