Favorite Condiment?

I ask because I am always looking for more. Whether it's a dressing, sandwich topping, or sauce, post your favorite. I'll start it off with the greatest sauce I've ever found, and it's based on a Vietnamese recipe, of all things.

this is another favorite and has replaced any other hot sauce I use


and this sweet chili sauce is just as good for dipping tempura battered chicken tenders

I have been using that Siracha (sp) sauce for the past year. I love it on everything I want spicy.
And I must wipe my ass with a sno-cone immediately after consumption.......

I'm also a huge fan of Horseradish sauce, only if it's made with fresh horseradish.


always good on any type of sausage, be it Italian, Kielbasa, etc.... It's a good way to clear up your sinuses too!

I agree that A-1 makes the steak for me.

I totally agree. That mustard is far and away the best option. I always get pissed when I am outside of Cleveland buy a dog forgetting that they only carry bland old yellow mustard.

i've always been a believer in using the "kiss" method as in "keep it simple, stupid" and you honestly can't go wrong with plain old sour cream. it's good on tacos, burritos, baked potatoes and chicken wings and i have even taken to using it in other dishes that probably don't come to mind for most people like beef & noodles and chicken parmesan. it is quite tasty and makes for a nice accent flavor.

The Arby's Sauce along with the Horsey sauce are nice on sandwiches, but if you ask for a side of their "Red Ranch" dressing, you get what goes on the Beef N Cheddars.

I just remembered to come back to this topic, mostly because I'm frying up some breaded shrimp in a few minutes and I have the simplest cocktail sauce that just rocks. 1 cup Heinz ketchup, 1-2 teaspoons of this:

I'll try it. Sounds good, and I think that is essentially the basis of most cocktail sauces. The ketchup/horseradish mixture works because it has a good taste/cost ratio. I will get fancy with the chili sauce, which I think I've had before on its own and loved.

He was disappointed but his birthday is next month so I'll just ship him some.

I was going to mention Baconnaise, I just haven't remembered to order the stuff yet. I generally make hamburgers with mayo and pepper on the bottom bun, A1 on the top. I've been dying to see how Baconnaise would work, although I'd probably make one with A1 and one without.
