Matt Rosati is leaving West Geauga to be the new head coach at Perry. This is very good news for the Pirates and a very hard loss for the Wolverines of West Geauga. The deal was reportedly good enough to spark the move for a man that wanted to retire from West G, but that's the way high school football has been going lately. A fact of life, but not always the best thing for the kids that play the game.
Finishing 8-2 last season was big for Perry and don't look for them to slide much. Coach Rosati knows how to win, so look for the Pirates to be a force again in the CVC. Hope that schedule strength can get them some quality wins and push them into the playoffs.
The question that remains now is who will fill the head coaches' spot at West Geauga?
