Three hours to take Drew Gooden? No wonder you went one and out last season. :lmfao:

I will make room for both of them under the cap. One more stellar draft pick is coming from me. When added to Troy Murphy, I will have an excellent trio of veteran centers to choose from each week.

I play to win now. Why waste time drafting 4-5 million dollar rookies that aren't gonna do shit for you this season? True champions can't afford to char roster spots. Every year I take a veteran with my late first round pick that ends up contributing.

And remember - I won this league back to back years with Jeff Foster as my center. :nanner:

Go ahead and start adding your new players on the site in the add/drop screen. Can start cutting guys too if you want. Must be at 12 guys and under the cap by Sun, Oct 26. Any players other teams cut MAY NOT be picked up. Waivers will open a couple days into the season as they do every year.

I Heart Fat Chicks:

Do we really need to list all the prospects, from all the various leagues that you have listed in your career...and how they have panned out? I would think those memories would slow down your propaganda attack, but some never learn.

Sykes, don't hate the player....... hate the game

Wilson Chandler started for the Knicks in place of David Lee (ankle) on Monday, finishing with 22 points on 10-of-15 shooting and eight rebounds.

Chandler is justifying owners who have him tabbed as a sleeper, and won't be on the waiver wire in many leagues after this impressive preseason. If your league has already drafted and he is sitting out there, don't hesitate to scoop him up. :nanner:

I swear to God I made up the Shawn Marion comparisons in my previous post about Chandler. Never heard it in my life.

Just read this today on NBA.com:

Wilson Chandler: Shawn Marion Comparisons
Update: Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni is considering Chandler for a role similar to the one Shawn Marion played for the coach in Phoenix, Newsday reports.
Analysis: Chandler, a small forward by trade, was used at power forward Friday night against the Celtics. He guarded Kevin Garnett on defense while grabbing nine rebounds with three blocked shots and two steals. "He can guard his man and his man can't guard him," D'Antoni said. "It puts him at a hell of an advantage . . . Shawn Marion, at the four, was pretty good, and Wilson's a little bit of that kind of guy. He's strong, he rebounds, he opens the floor."
