Great simple chicken dish ...

So easy, so good.

Pound of chicken breasts. Season with garlic or onion salt and cracked pepper.

Separate bowl, mix a standard size bottle of Russian salad dressing and the smaller size jar of apricot preserves.

Pour some on the bottom of the baking dish, add the chicken, pour the rest over the chicken. Bake at 350 for 30 min or so.

Recipe in itself is excellent, one we've been making for years. Last night, added 20 or so droplets of Jabanero Tabasco. Wow. Went from sweet and sour to sweet, sour, and spicy. Superb.

Extra sauce is great to pour over white rice.

Quick, easy, tasty.

That sounds really good, I am going to try that out next week. I am always looking for new recipes and that sounds great!

I was looking on the web for new recipes last week and this was an excellent chicken dish as well. I let the marinate sit for about 2 hours which really did a lot for the chicken. I will definitely make it again but might try a version with more spice next time.

I have a chicken recipe that is somewhat similiar

6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 bottle Catalina salad dressing
1 can whole cranberry sauce
1 packet onion soup mix

Place chicken breasts in baking pan, mix all other ingredients together, pour over chicken, bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Enjoy!
