Great race.

Should be a fun finish.

Years of doing this pool, first time I've ever got to 22, even if I lose my last two.

This will be quite the battle the last week of the season. The field has been remarkable in picking games during this phase.

Still 5 games to go, but there is a real possibility of a tie. Have you ever had to use the tie breaker?

Not this year in here. But in the other version of this pool I play in, it's been used.

Any and all people who are tied, or could potentially be tied ... pick every game this Sunday. Most correct picks wins.

Still a tie? Split up the $$$.

Mother F'in New York Yankees. Two weeks ago I couldn't count on them to beat Miguel Batista (could be the worst pitcher in baseball) and the sorry ass Mariners and now Phil Hughes decides to throw a gem against the Blue Jays.

Blue Jay's reliever in the 10th gives up a lead off double to the 8th place hitter, followed by a walk to a batter who was giving himself up to sacrifice, only to be followed by a hit batter. Then Abreu launches a grand salami...game over.

F... the Skankees. Now I feel better!

Swerb ..... maybe we should give Clarke Kent or Action Boy or C Blue the money right now ..... how in the world could one guy be so accurate if he's not changing in a phone booth. I killed myself trying to hang around and am totally happy to be mentioned in the last group. Why didn't I have the scrot to use StL mon or tues. I could never have won with my last two puppies but I could have made you two squirm just a bit in your computer chair.
Also you would be in the clubhouse large if you woulda used them last night but I'm guessin' you know that. Good luck to the both of you this weekend. Opening day can't come quick enough.

Thanks for the props UJ. It has been a blast as Phase III has seen the playas put up some ungodly numbers. Whoever wins will have earned it. Good to luck both of you.

Great phase fellas. Big, big ups to Lead Pipe for his performance in the first two phases, and to Action Boy and Uncle June for stellar pahse III efforts.

Tough one to lose, but it was a great battle to the end. Congrats to Swerb for winning Phase III and props to Uncle June for an incredible ride.

I will post the final standings tomorrow.
