Week 5 College Football Picks

Firing it up again this week.

I'm thinking about taking Tulane -18 and USC -24.5 tonight, plus something else.

How's everyone else feel about Tulane? They made me money two weeks ago, covered easily last week for me, can they do it again?

I think I'm staying away from the USC game because I think it could go either way, but I am definitely on Tulane.

In '04, Oregon St. almost upset then-#1 USC. In '06, they did beat them.

My best bet might be to go Tulane-USC-??? and Tulane-OSU-???. Play both sides of it and should be able to win one of them and make a $20 profit off the two $5 parlays.

Takin Tulane tonight as well, they have been playing pretty well against some good comp (Bama and ECu) plus SMU Stinks, I'm stayin away from USC game, and playin it safer with Tulane.

I took the bait on USC's last two trips to Oregon St.

Tulane -18, u49 on that game
Oregon St. +25, o52.5 on that game.

I can't resist taking Oregon State. 24 points at home, at night, in conference is something i can't pass up. History is also on the Beavers side. USC could easily beat them by 40, but it's got to be hard to get up for every game when you are favored by at least 3 TD's.

I took Tulane knowing that SMU might not even score a point. I wish i laid more money on it. I wanted to make the USC/Org St game interesting, so i took Org St.

I was really liking the Tulane game til that SMU TD. Now I'm a bit worried. The under seemed like a good play, but it's in jeopardy now.

A 31-7 Tulane win would be ideal. They can't give up any more for my purposes.

I parlay everything. I don't bet game by game. I really don't have the bankroll for that.

Yep. I usually do parlays of three. Rarely do I bet over/unders. It seems like the lines are always just right to cast enough doubt.

I've got 8 picks ATS for Saturday already that I'll bet tomorrow when they lay -105 on Fridays on my book. I'll either cut it down to two tickets or find another game somewhere.

I think this is a game that USC overlooked on their schedule. No excuse though, they even had a bye week to prepare

Had my first ticket of Clemson -11, Ball St. -19, and Wake -16 blown up.

My next one was CMU -7, Illinois +16, Troy +17.5, and Wisconsin -6.5.

Then, because Wisconsin choked, I got pissed off and took 'Bama outright (+205), LSU -24, and San Jose St. outright (+125). LSU can eat a bag of dicks.

I broke even on College football this week. Penn St, UNLV, and South Carolina ruined it. On the other hand, I dominated NFL. Until next week.....
