Cotto Rolls

Unread postby swerb » Sun Mar 05, 2006 10:31 am

Cotto looked great again last night. It's surprising to me this guy doesn't get more love on the various pound for pound lists you see out on the web.

Anyone know anything about this Paul Malignaggi guy he's gonna fight in June? Dude is undefeated, but that's not always telling ... as we saw with Lacy last night.

A Cotto win in June has to get him a fight with Mayweather or Hatton in the fall, no?

Malignaggi was just on ESPN a few weeks back.
Quick and pretty slick...........I liked his style
I only saw him fight that one time though.
Cott is a pretty bad mother and will probably win going away.
We shall see

He's a good boxer, but in 21 wins only has five KO's, dude has no power. They are putting this fight on ppv the same night as Hopkins/Tarver, they have a Puerto Rican holiday that weekend in New York, Malignaggi is a New York fighter, this will be Cotto's chance to shine before a fight in the fall. If Cotto wins, he should easily, but last night taught me a lesson, I would love to see Hatton/Cotto, which won't be any technical boxing match, but a good old fashioned slugfest.
