Bad news and good news.
It's bad news because it hurts competition so to speak.
It's good news because when (or if) they fold, the few decent fighters they do have will be able to fight better competition in the UFC or other organizations possibly.

Another reason why the UFC is king.

Competition is always a good thing. But hopefully, if Elite goes down, this will open the door for the UFC to get on the networks so it can truly thrive.

That's what I'm sayin' cuz. Spike has some great free shows. But FOX is on in about 300 million additional homes.

Get UFC on Sat nights once every six weeks on FOX, and it will become truly mainstream.

Dana White has to know this, and I'm sure he's working on it. He's been brilliant in building the UFC up to this point.

Elite, while I initially thought it could be a threat ... has actually helped the UFC. Once mainstream America sees the quality as opposed to the gimmicktry of Kimbo and some of those other meatballs they trot out there ... they'll eat that shit up.
