MLB Pick 30 - PHASE THREE

Alright fellas, time for Phase III.

Lead Pipe wins Phase I with a 21-9 record. Was dominant fron start to finish, and fended off a late rally from waborat and Bill Henry. At $20 a player, 17 entrants, Lead Pipe took down $340.

Lead Pipe also won Phase II with a 23-7 record. 24 entrants, $30 a pop ... the Lead Man took down another $720. Was a great battle between him and Carolina Tribe down to the bitter end?

Can anyone beat this guy?

Heres the details for Phase III ...

Starts Monday, Aug 11th. Ends Sunday, Sept 28, which is the end of the regular season. 49 days long.

Pick one baseball team each night to simply win their game. You cannot pick the same team twice. And have to select all 30 teams in baseball one time.

Contest lasts for 49 days. So seeing as how you need to pick every team in baseball one time and one time only, there will be 19 days you don't pick a game. Use those PASS days wisely when there is no strong selection amonst the teams you have left to use. All picks must be time stamped no later than the official start time of the game per MLB.com or else the pick is thrown out.

The winner is the person with the most total wins after the Sept 28 games end. Each entrant will have picked exactly 30 games, each team in baseball one time, over a 49 day period.

$30 per player, winner take all. If we get more than 20 people, I will entertain breaking off a prize for second. The tiebreaker, once we get there, and if we need it ... will be to pick the winners of every baseball game on the last day of the contest, Sunday, Sept 28.

My Marous Brothers softball team recently qualified to play in the world tournamnet in Kankakee, Illinois on September 12-14.
