Whacked out NFL line

Not sure if any of you guys use sportsbetting.com or not, but I do, and it's a pretty simple site that's always been easy to use.

Anyway, they have a huge mistake right now in their "NFL Regular Season Wins" line. Buffalo's o/u is 7.5, with the over at -140 and the under at +1153. Obviously a mistake, but I'll take advantage. I threw $25 on the under and I stand to win about $290. I'm not sure if they'll correct it and void my bet or something, but I'll scream bloody murder if they do since they had the line posted. Definitely worth throwing a few bucks on if you use that site.

So yeah, definitely worth taking a shot at. If that holds...it's probably gonna cost them a nice chunk of change.

Seems with Lead Pipe and the rest...I might learn a little betting here. What sights do you all normally use? I use Sportsbook when I get motivated to bet.

A year or so ago, my bro called me and said get down on the under in the (whatever the hell Big Sky conference team it was) hoop game tonight. Lead saw the under was like 241. An obviuos mistake. Made the bet, and it was canceled right before game time.

If it's an obvious error, I doubt you're going to cash in. Good luck anyway.

I ran across something similar myself.
Normally Cubs game at home don't have over/unders listed.
It had the over listed as a half run.
I took it and it was cancelled as well.

Yea, I've seen something like this happen a few times.

I placed a bet on a 12:01am game a few years ago. They set the timer wrong and didn't take the game down until about 12:45am, so I placed my bet around 12:30am. They graded my wager a win, but the next day went back and corrected it.

I said something like "Once you grade a wager a win, you can't change it. If you cash a ticket in Vegas, they aren't going to come after you and demand you reimburse them." They pretty much just told me, "This isn't Vegas and this is the way we operate."

I hope they dont change it. They wouldnt change my bet if I wanted to go back and fix it. They should have paid more attention to what the hell they were doing when they set the lines. That bet was the only reason i put money on that stupid, cheap ass looking site anyway.

I don't know anyone who has gotten paid in the last 6 months from Sportsbook.com....I'm still waiting for my $1600 from last year's bowl games...my 2 friends are owed a combined $4400

I have cashed there...stupidly playing craps on there one day. I turned a couple bucks left over from a random deposit for football at the end of the year into $1,000.00.

I love craps, and had decided I wanted to try playing the Don't Pass line. It worked.

But, I'm still looking for a more reputable site.

I put $50 on that Bills under 7.5 future bet, and it was obviously accident (at +1153). I tried calling sportsbetting.com, but the foreign lady on the phone said "all bets final and cant be changed", which i then said "even if it was a line error from the website" and she said "the grading department can change it if there was a error". Thats fine and all, but that was the only reason i put money on that site was for that one bet. If they are not going to honor that bet i want my money back so i can withdrawl it. I dont want to wait until the end of the football season, thats crap.

The small print you agreed to when you signed up says they have the right to.

They wouldnt change my bet if I wanted to go back and fix it.

I once put a bet in incorrectly on a site. I realized my error an hour later and called the support number. Phone was answered quickly, I was never put on hold, issue was resolved before I got off the phone. Better customer service than 95% of companies I deal with.

Just logged in to check the first round lines, and noticed about $900 bucks in my account that shouldn't have been there. Started freaking out because I only bet one game today for $25. Turns out this future, which I threw $75 on back in August, hit, and hit big. I was convinced Sportsbetting was going to change this, but apparently not. Congratulations to anyone else who rolled the dice on this, too. Looks like my rent for this semester is covered.

It could of actually be a no-loss situation if you bet it properly.

Bet $140 on the over: If you win, you profit $100, if you lose, you are negative $140
Bet $100 on the Under: If you win, you are at $1153-$140 from above = $993. If you lose, you are negative $100 + $100 from above = 0$.

So you could of rigged it so that you came away with at worst getting your money back. Damn. I will have to pay more attention to this board next summer :)

You might wanna keeep it on the down low. I heard that they often browse message boards looking for irregularities with their betting lines......
