Great column. And awesome to see Great Lakes getting national love, with the Holy Moses checking in at #7 and Burning River Pale Ale at #14.
Dogfish IPA (#2 overall) is also an awesome, awesome brew.
I just got a new fav page to mark and new goal for the year.
Where's "Samuel L. Jackson Ale" ?
BTW - This isn't a C-town vs berg thing, and I've yet to try the Penn Weitzen, so I'll do that, but Penn Pilsner sucks ass. The only thing I can compare it to is when back in the day at the Loft in Kent they used to have the bangin' happy hour. $ 2.00 picthers and $ 2.00 za's. Thery used to run so low on picthers they wash them in this anti-bacterial shit, funk 'em in water and fill them with some cheap beer. You could still taste the soap. But it was dirt cheap and got you drunk.
