What type of scoring system do you use in your rankings?

I am in several but they are all similar

Td's, Fg's, extrapoints, safeties are all worth there regular values

For every 50 yds passing=1point
for every 20 yds rush=1 point
for every 20 yds receive=1 point

Give a bonus for FG over 50 yds

We do have defensive scoring as well

0-10 points allowed= 10 points
11-20= 5 points

So 75 yard TD's are the same as 1 yarders?

Not trying to be critical one way or the other, but that is very important info for how one comes about rankings.

75 yard td is worth six points and the points you get for every 20 yds of rushing or receiving

The one thing I would change is your Marion Barber ranking.

I'm banking on a top 3 year out of him. He's durable enough to carry the full load, and I don't anticipate any of the young backs or hacks stealing enough carries to devalue him. Marion's averaging 14 scores a game over the past few years. I'm expecting him to find paydirt at least 18 times this season.

Barber's never proven that he can handle the full load, last 2 years he's split carries with Julius Jones. He takes tons of contact so that would make it more likely that he can't carry 25 times a game. This year Dallas used a 1st rounder on Felix Jones and you can bet they'll be using him. He's still a beast and was being used perfectly before so I hope they don't try and overwork him now.

He's been so productive with so few opportunities that I really think his stock will skyrocket this year. Of course he was getting the majority of the goalline carries over the past two years, but that will stay the same. Dallas has such an explosive offense that he will see plenty of scoring chances, plus defenses put so much of their focus on Owens that he won't have to deal with what Adrian Peterson is going to deal with.

Dallas will use Felix Jones, but he is still going to have to be productive to steal enough carries to devalue Barber. He's a rookie.

You are right that Barber has never had this much responsibility. Maybe he isn't capable of carrying the ball 300 times. On the flip side, he has never messed with injuries so that gives me confidence that he has what it takes to pickup an extra 7-10 touches a game and not see any impact over the course of one year.

Just curious how many carries does Felix Jones get a game this year? 8-10?
