Ahh, the days of the GCC. I could not tell you what conference North is in, or who is in it.

mswerb,

I can help you out. They are in the PAC (Premier Athletic Conference), not sure what is so Premier about it.

Teams:
North, South, Madison, Riverside, Chardon, Lakeside

Their baseball team always gave us headaches at Euclid in 77-79, I think the pitchers name was Hadzinsky.

Also, the PAC is supposed to add Geneva and University School I believe in the 2009-2010 school year.

E. North 8-2 in 1992 only two losses were to two playoff teams that year.(Euclid and Twinsburg) Back then only 4 teams from the region made the tourney per division(8 now). North would have played Ignatius in the first round had a Judge's injunction not come into play. Euclid was using an inelgible player and the Ohsaa determined they would have to forfeit their games where the player was used. A judge overruled and Euclid took the spot and North just missed the playoffs. Clearly I was on this team and was a little bitter;) We did beat Mentor that year at the time they were ranked 2 in the state, DI. North baseball has had some success and there girls basketball tore it up in the 90's, not sure since then though.

Ignatius would have smoked us anyway but it would have been fun!
