A lot of people on the A's tonight.

Marlins and Hendrickson been breaking my heart all season. Be nice to see em break a couple others tonight.

Couple good fights on Showtime late night tonight ... I'll be clicking away like a maniac.

Extra innings is my friend, extra innings is my friend... maybe if I repeat it enough times I might actually end up on the right end of one! (Like quite a few yesterday.)

If it's not too late - 3 hours before gametime...

Seattle Mariners

Unread postby Action Boy » Sun Jun 22, 2008 12:20 am

Wow...the Mariners are a train wreck. 4-1 lead with 4 outs to go and they bring in Miguel Batista to close out the game. Are you kidding me? I think Miguel has played for 28 of the 30 teams in the majors and is about 45 years old. He proceeds to face 8 batters and retires NONE of them.

I was up till 1 AM watching the Fri night Oakland A's miracle win over the Marlins. FU Luis Gonzalez.

Clicked over to see the Seattle meltdown tonight.

Both of them = Lead Pipe wins.

Dude just can't lose.

Braves for me on Sunday also.

The A's win last night was at least pretty legit. They were up 4-0 before making it a game. The Braves were down the entire game before pulling one out the ass.

A's/Marlins Friday Game

Unread postby Action Boy » Sun Jun 22, 2008 1:10 am

Swerb,

I didn't see it but I heard Gonzalez dropped a fly ball for the Marlins.....F' in moron.

I know Putz is out for the Mariners, but you can't put Miguel Batista in a game to close. He couldn't save a game for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.

Yes, Lead Pipe has the karma.

Bounced off the palm of his effin mitt. After they made three heroic efforts to get back in that game.

And Batista ... this guy has been a gas can all year. No reason to take Rhodes out of that game and go to him. Seattle is so poorly managed .... ever since Grover quit. McLaren, this new chump, night in and night out they make horrible decisions.

Luck and Karma may explain the last few days players, but the question is, do they account for the last 6 years?

As with Rich Harden, Lead Man going with Scott Kazmir and hoping this isn't the day his elbow falls off.

Tampa Bay for Sunday.
