Can anyone think of a good player to pick up off the waivers in a fantasy league? My league is very deep so we are talking guys that are rookies that haven't played beofe that will be seeing playing time or guys that just won a position on a team.
Anyone know of such a gem?

Taking a blind guess without knowing the depth of the league:
Rich Hill in the Cubs rotation
Dustin Nippert if he finds his way into D'Backs rotation.
Ronny Paulino (probably a known commodity)
Ryan Braun is the 3rd baseman for the Brewers, with a ton of potential. Will be right there with Chris Young (Zona, OF) for NL ROY.

Ronnie Paulino is a STUD.
If Texas RP Otsuka is out there, he's gonna close to start the season as Gagne will start the season on the DL.
Wade Miller just landed the 5 spot in the Cubbies rotation. Chad Durbin will start the season in the Tigers rotation with The Gambler on the shelf. Darin Erstad has looked good for ChiW and has stolen Brian Andersons CF job.
One deep sleeper I like this year is the SS Betancourt from Seattle. Someone probably has him though.

Yeah the league i'm in is real deep. We are talking about players ranked in the 600's in the FA listings. 
However i did just pick up:
Fausto Carmona
Sammy Sosa
Wade Miller
And i have this trade pending:
Aubrey Huff for Kevin Kouzmanoff
I'm getting Kevin Kouzmanoff .

Me personally, I like Huff to break out this year. And Kouz, as a rook, in Petco scares me a little. If its a keeper league its a no brainer.
