Man U-UEFA Champions

For those who missed it, the UEFA Champions League title match between Manchester United and Chelsea was one for the ages. Man U would persevere for the win by the skin of their teeth, winning by 6 shots to 5 in a shootout.

One of the best football matches I have seen, the 2006 World Cup Final between Italy and France included.

This was how sports are often scripted in Hollywood, but it happened between two of the bitterest rival club teams on the planet in a throughly exciting match.

Too bad for those who have a problem seeing European Football as a real sport. This game pretty much settled the folly of that thinking. Plenty of ferocity and bad blood between these two squads. Hard hitting, too, with no where near the padding of American Football.

Congrats to Man U on a majestic win and to Chelsea for a similarly majestic effort in defeat.
