Cleveland and Harrisburg play to 0-0 draw

Unread postby budfrog532 » Sat May 03, 2008 10:31 am

Well, the game was delayed due to lightning, and was played almost entirely in a driving rain -- and the end result was 0-0.

Considering the sloppy conditions, the play was actually decent.

There was a highly questionable non-call of a penalty in the 40th minute that could have granted Cleveland a goal. Other than that oversight, the referee was serviceable.

The entire match will be re-broadcast on STO @ 1:00pm Sunday.

The match will also be available on demand on the City Stars website later in the week.

I'm getting tired of these lightning delays. All in all, a solid match considering the conditions. Would've liked to see 3 points at home though.
