The Real Swerb Congratulations Thread

Unread postby pup » Sun May 04, 2008 1:26 pm

Congrats to Rich and Hallie Swerbinsky, proud parent of a new baby girl. Born at roughly 3:00 AM Sunday.

Mom and baby are both doing well.
Rich needs a beer.

yes and no. They are assembled but not complete.

You are always looking for replacements and upgrades on the personality and mental aspects. Instillation is always problematic later on.

Joint replacement is much later down the line :P :-P
No socially acceptable waiver or trade market (thankfully).

Can we now move on and get back to the kudos for Rich and Hallie???

Just one ? Come on Rich you live in Twinsburg after all. Congratulations. I hope everyone is well. I expect to see a lot of late night postings from you. You will have no problem being awake for the West Coast games. I can't explain it, but having girls changes the way you look at life. At least it did for me. All the best Rich, Hallie, Nicholas and the baby girl to be named later.

Congratulations Rich, that's one beautiful little burrito you have there.

Enjoy the time with her that you're the king of the world before she becomes an eye-rolling teenager and you become almost too stupid to breathe.

And note that you and your wife have your daughter outnumbered, when the second one comes the two of them will have you guys outnumbered. It's exponential.

There's a good Mark Twain line about this. I don't have it handy, but the paraphrase is, "My father was the biggest idiot in the world when I was 16. Now that I'm older, it's amazing how much smarter he's become."

Thank you everyone.

Feels good to be back home. Just in time for Cavs/Celtics game 1 and Tribe/Yanks tonight. The birth happens right in between the 1st and 2nd rds of the playoffs. Brilliant planning by me 9 months ago.

Look forward to taking in the games in front of the big screen with my new daughter. Similac for her, and some much needed Commodore Perry IPA for me. I may even drink it out of a bottle.

Congrats Swerb and God's richest blessings to your family!

3:00 AM!?!?! My firstborn came on a Saturday night in late October when the clocks got moved back for the time change. The Mrs. had to do the same hour of labor twice! Ugh!

Great timing. You got to see the 4th round picks of the Browns.
Didn't miss any Cavs playoff games.
And you might have missed two or three Indians games, but don't worry, you didn't miss any runs scored and only a coupla hits!!

Now pray that your young lady will start getting some sleep. Most people think a baby's naps are for the baby. Any parent will tell you otherwise!! God Bless!
