Marte is better then blake! just bench him already!

I also would swear the game was tied when he took his truly pathetic swings.
Horrible play. Catch the ball, make the tag.
Horrible swings. Try and hit a strike.

Pardon my french, but the way you actual english use english is amusing to me.
Conversely, the way some American baseball fans apply logic is mostly greek to me.

It's like the scouts told Tony - he has trouble with the inside stuff because he needs to extend his arms and he's a sucker for the breaking stuff away. But he probably is OK on pitches in the middle of the plate when the temperature is is 75 degrees or higher.
Trade him to the Rays or Marlins for a decent prospect in A ball.

This season, I blame the lack of beard. Look at Dellucci's stats 2008 v. 2007. It's the beard, I tell you.

Everytime Blake has a bad game the rants begin. When he gets off to a slow start the rants begin. When he is hitting around his mean many of you argue the numbers are meaningless because he hits poorly with RISP. Now that he is hitting with RISP the only thing that gets mentioned is his poor BA. Did I mention I really really love you guys?
The biggest problem right now is that the Tribe is not hitting with RISP and you want to bench the player this season who has arguably been the best hitter with RISP. I know, I know he won't keep this pace up for the whole season so let's bench him before he stops hitting so well with RISP, right? I might be wrong but I think I've mentioned I really, really, really love you guys.

How odd. Perhaps Blake's biggest critic when it comes to hitting with RISP failing to provide Blake's RISP for the period he cites. In this period he was 1 for 4 (a double) .250/.500/.400/..900.Duane Kuiper wrote:Jennifer wrote:The biggest problem right now is that the Tribe is not hitting with RISP and you want to bench the player this season who has arguably been the best hitter with RISP. Blake isnt going anywhere this season, and he will get his 500+ AB's. So we might as well back the dude and give him our support because we need everybody to get it in gear if we are to make some noise this year.
