Someone Talk Me Out of It?

Unread postby peeker643 » Sat Apr 12, 2008 3:35 pm

I like the Indians - 1.5 (105) tonight. 45 degrees and Fausto v. Dinardo.

Can anyone talk me out of it?

Please.

Video of a few recent Michaels/Hfner at bats might do it.

I like em tonight, just don't got the heart to lay the 1.5 with this team till they start hitting the ball a little more consistently.

Money line is -220 too. Not the value I'm looking for. You betting Cintron Swerb?

Indians and Cintron. Small plays on both.

Peek, how can you not love the Tigers +150 tonight?

It's a shame I'm so confident in the Tribe going down to Detroit tonight. Hope I'm wrong!

Because that would surely be the night CC looks Cy-ish. From a mush standpoint I should bet the Tigs just to get CC off the schnide.

Couple games I saw this morning that seem extremely out of whack were Chicago -7 to Toronto (?!?) in the NBA and Phoenix -12 as well at home against Portland.

Need to see what scores & odds says about that. Work will not allow that little pleasure though.

Chicago line down to -6. Bosh's playing time "may be limited." Suns line still at -12, with Stoudemire probable/Hill doubtful.

Is that from the 'free-matchups' section of scores and odds. Click on that if possible and sometimes you'll get their power rankings and their projected line vs. actual line.

I know it's the last game of the season, so shit may be skewed.

I've never noticed a free match-up link. Where is that at?

8:35 PM EDT
521 toronto raptors 211o10 211o10 / 211 211.5 +243
522 chicago bulls -6.5 -05 -6.5 -05 / -7 / -6.5 -6 -263
GAME CIRCLED:TOR-F-Bosh-may be limited

I clicked on the individual team link and it looks like that just shows trends from the last few games.

On scores and odds.com it's under where you see the injuries, etc. In blue. Sorry for the delay in responding.

BTW, the Cavs are +4.5 right now? Hmm....

That's the same thing I said, This has trap written all over it, or maybe Vegas feels that strongly against the Cavs on the Road, not sure here but so far we're 2-0 ATS so they haven't been right yet. Thinkin Over too.

Bad, bad spot for the Cavs tonight.

Wizards entire season on the line with three days rest and a sure to be raucous packed house. Would not bet the Cavs with Peekers money tonight.

Hope I am wrong.

Vegas is just looking to get even action. The line opened at Washington -5 and is down to 4.5, so money must be on Cleveland for now. Though I assume the Washington players would wait closer until tip anyhow.

Assuming the Cavs don't make an incredible 4th quarter surge, the home team is now 13-5 ATS so far in the NBA playoffs.
