Starts Monday, April 14th. Ends May 31.

Pick one baseball team each night to simply win their game. You cannot pick the same team twice. And have to select all 30 teams in baseball one time.

Contest lasts for 48 days. So seeing as how you need to pick every team in baseball one time and one time only, there will be 18 days you don't pick a game.

The winner is the person with the most total wins after the May 31 games end. Each entrant will have picked exactly 30 games, each team in baseball one time, over a month and a half time period.

$20 per player, winner take all. The tiebreaker, once we get there, and if we need it ... will be to pick the winners of every baseball game on the last day of the contest, Sat May 31.

I'll throw in the following as well for the winner ....

Oakland A's rookie pitcher Greg Smith and Pirates center fielder Nate McLouth were heartbreakers on day one, sending five people to 0-1 starts on a day that saw just three wins from the field. In total, eight people lost. Six passed.

Smith pitched 7 innings of 6 hit ball against the hot hitting White Sox in just his second MLB appearance, and also picked a couple runners off base in the 3rd and 7th innings to thwart rallies in the A's 2-1 win. Oakland, picked by most to be one of the worst teams in baseball, is now 9-5 on the young season.

The Pirates McLouth came into last nights game with a 12 game hitting streak and was leading baseball in hits. With the streak in jeopardy in the bottom of the ninth and two outs, McLouth did this to LA's normally reliable closer Takashi Saito:
