Doesn't do much to frighten me. The amount of energy required to create a black hole that could suck up the Earth is far more than what these guys are producing. We're talking about microscopic sizes here. There'd have to be a massive amount of energy fed into these things for something really bad to happen.
Some scientists were concerned nearly 65 years ago when the first nuclear bomb was detonated. They thought it would cause a chain reaction that would eventually cause all the hydrogen nuclei throughout the universe to split and make everything go up in a really big bang. Didn't happen.
We humans like to overestimate our own power for destruction and comprehension of the universe.
