Who needs personal responsibility when the government can handle it for you?

It's not just the government, it's also the media pushing agendas that attempt to disgrace people. They've got a non-smoking campaign down here that makes me sick - and I don't smoke and don't like it. It just pisses me off that they try to belittle people or make them look like idiots for exercising their right to make choices, good and bad. I also don't get why they can be so selective. Why not go after alcohol like the puritanical forces did in the 1920s? Maybe because they enjoy alcohol and just want to stop people from using something they don't like? How are they any different from religious zealots that feel they can shove their religion down people's throats?
