Fuck you Glidden, your paint sucks. I keep waiting for Dianoga to creep up b/c feel like I am in the Death Star trash compactor my walls are getting so thick.

I hate painting, period. A few years back I got a letter in the mail from the city stating that my garage had to be painted to keep up with city standards. City standards my ass, there was nothing wrong with the paint on my garage. Someone from the city was probably pissed off that he had to do visual inspections and had a quota to meet that day. I ended up scraping the old paint off on my birthday, and painting the garage the next weekend. Needless to say, it was the last time I painted anything.

I've been pretty happy with either Behr paint from Home Depot, or Valpar from Lowe's.

Still dreading when the wife gets her motivation on, and we have to finally paint the great room.

16 foot vaulted ceilings suck.

Now you want to get me into a real Home Improvement Rant, bring up the topic of grouting tile...especially custom backsplash tile that's only 1 inch square.

Yes grouting tile sucks! We re-tiled our shower, what a pain in the ass.
We did save money by doing it ourselves, but if you like a broken back, have at it.

Yeah. It was putting in the click-n-lock floor that sewed up and clinched your spot in that seat.

I don't mind painting too much when I am painting something that I can take pride in down the road, like a living room or a room in the house that others will enjoy and admire. But painting something like the back of a garage just sucks ass.

Cleaning the painting tools is just as much a pain.

Plumbing and electrical are the other things I cannot stand. Anything that can send my ass 15 feet across the room or something that might leak when I am all done with assembly is just not fun.

Hanging doors? don't even get me started.
