Dan Patrick was dropped by our local ESPN affiliate here in Columbus, 1460 The Fan. Thank god. For the last 3 years he has done nothing but just spout opinion after opinion and become more and more self absorbed.

Frankly, he is clearly beginning to think, like Berman and Screaming A. Smith, that he is as big of a story as the sports. He, like Berman and Smith, is a self absorbed, pompous ass and I am glad to see him go.

Who are they airing in his place? Chris Spielman and Kirk Herbstreit's shows have been extended to cover the gap. I am not a big fan of Spielman's show, but it is 100X better than DP.

At some point, about ten years ago, Chris Berman decided that he is a celebrity. He now does everything but talk about himself in the 3rd person, oh wait, he does that too...."the schwarrrm takes the jets +3.5"

The dude is a total tool. If i have to hear, "back, back, back, back, gone..." one more time.... It ruins every homerun derby.
