Anybody been following this story? It just keeps getting more and more crazy. One of the Navy SEALs in the raid that got bin Laden--and who was supposedly in the room when he was shot--has written a soon-to-be-published book about the raid called "No Easy Day." All this was done without the knowledge of the US military, who (logically) are upset about the leaking of potentially secret information and US military techniques, not to mention the negative effect this could have on American security.
Now, Fox News (imagine that) has done it one better...they've made public the name of the author, who, until that point, was only known through a pseudonym. With this, websites affiliated with al-Quaeda have already published his name, age, and picture, too, and are no doubt inspiring all sorts of "martyrs" to avenge their great sheik and beloved leader's "murder." Even if secretly publishing this book was wrong, it would be a national tragedy if those little fuckers managed to get to this hero.
