Kid looks like a typical schmarmy east coach type. Thinks he can get away with anything and the laws don't apply to him. A payment plan would be good. At $ 1K / month he'll have it paid off in 56 years.

I'm all for intellectual property protection, but not sure the court should arbitrarily lay down a ridiculous fine on an individual who was doing the same thing as hundreds of thousands of others.
I don't need to be patient, they're going to be shit forever.

How about this?

We kill off the RIAA, and MPAA, and leave it to the rights of individuals to deal with their property.

IE, if Metallica is that pissed someone is posting videos of them on youtube, they, themselves have the right to take it down. Not the record company.

That way those that want to progress to the future and realize that CD's and DVD's are as dead VHS's at the moment.

Ask any artist in the field right now, and I'm sure they could give a shit about torrenting, as I can bet their main stream of revenue is via concerts and merch.

Besides with formats like Sirius Satelite Radio, Netflix, and Spotify it's proving that torrenting is quite pointless at the moment.

And how about this? Instead of hearing these White Collar morons, bribe their way into another hearing within court, we redo the justice system to CRAP like this doesn't clog up the system.

There's a million things worse in this country over some 17 year old kid downloading some Skrillex song. How about focus on getting rid of the influence of idiot lobbyists within all forms of gov't?

I can't tell if JB is joking or not.

You better be joking, if not YOU ARE RETARDED.

I use torrents all the fucking time for movies, TV, and music.

Don't feel the least bit bad about it either, fuck them and their draconian copyright laws. Fuck them in the ass with rusty screwdriver.

If I pirate a movie and it's good, I buy it on Blu-ray. If it sucks I delete it, fuck them, make better movies.

It's not stealing. Not at all.

Fuck the MPAA, a bunch of conservitard cocksuckers deciding what gets an "R" or a "NC-17" with no checks and balances. Fuck the RIAA, they just butthurt that digital music made their crappy $17 CDs obsolete.

The kid is dumb though, I guess he's never heard of PeerBlock.

Metallica$h can suck my hairy beanbag, haven't made a decent record since Justice.

/I win.
