But talk about straw men, the end of our freedoms is upon us b/c some municipal lawmakers told restaurants they cannot add child oriented incentives to their meals until those meals are nutritionally improved. My God you'd think McDonald's itself was incorporated into the Constitution.

You could replace the toy with lead painted arsenic and it would not stop about 30% from blindly buying their kid a happy meal. At least the first time. Would probably be a while for them to buy a second time. Those newborns take a little while to work up to McDonalds.

When the government takes over total control of health care in this country in 2014, the bureaucracy will have the legal power to dictate what you can’t eat, what you can’t drink, and what you can’t smoke -- all in the name of saving the government’s health care dollars so that all the previously uninsured can head to the emergency room for every friggin’ hangnail.

The HC Act was about insurance regulation and covering the uninsured through either carrot, stick or more welfare. There's no fuckin' single payer system and looming government national/socialist beauracracy coming. If you got a beef about putting more than just gramma and gramps butsing the deficit on the dole, fine. I get that. If you got a beef about how the Romney Plan was adopted nationwide (like states that have required auto insurance for years) to mandate health insurance in a capitalist, regulated, market, fine. I get that, too. It may or may not work requiring some entity to pay into health care costs so those who can (individuals, companies, an dthe gub mint) get some of the burdon spread out. It may or may not work. Who the hell knows?
