In another unrelated tidbit I'd like to take some borrowed guns to Alaska. I see Palin has a show on TLC. If anyone thinks that woman is running for Pres they can't read the teal leaves. She wants to be a celeb-u-tard, and is currently smack dab in the middle of doing it.

Too busy to post links, just check the DOW, seems like every other country in the world is fighting inflationary worries, while we are pumping dollars into the system to stop deflation.

Anyone see any deflation in the marketplace outside of housing? I know gas and food sure aren't cheaper. Most commodities are going skyhigh???

Walthers' are good pistols, a bit pricey IMO. If you're looking for something to take out to the range and plink with a .22 is cheap and fun. Home defense it might be lacking a bit, but if you hit 'em in the head or heart it won't matter. .38 is pretty much ideal for home/personal defense.

Shotgun? Just get a Remmy 870, best value for the money and it'll never let you down. Unless you want one of those tacticool set-ups with 800 accessory rails.

Of course she's in it for the fame and money, but what better way to cement your celeb-u-tard status than by running as the first ever female major candidate for President? Its an all expense-paid year-plus nationwide junket, and since she has no chance in hell of winning the general she can saunter back off back to her now permanent seats in the FOX News green room. Mission Accomplished.

I won't pretend to be anything other then an arm-chair Austrian School economist, but didn't we just go through a housing boom? Naturally it seems that we need a housing bust to reach "normal" levels. To me the Fed is basically kicking the problem down the road, and it continues to delay the correction.

Gas to get to work, food to eat, energy to warm my house/power my toys. Paint me less worried about deflation then the Fed.

I was thinking months ago, I really do not know how the guy is holding on. The complaints about him have become a trend, and what happened weeks ago was done in spite of him.

Even if the mainstream didn't like some of these canidates that were a bit out there, how do you not support them in some way. They still had an R after their name. I don't have much faith in the guy.

How do you know when you have messed with all of it too much, when it starts doing the opposite of what you are attempting to get it to do. I understand it is likely just a short-term move and there are other factors in the markets, but damn if that isn't a little disturbing.
