1. I throw 'em away each night.
2. Beagles bust their balls in the field all day, bleed for you, would rather die than quit and then come home and sleep under blankets and on pillows with my girls each night. An added bonus is the loyalty. If you stepped in a hole and snapped your femur the dog would be right there with you. Which would make it easier to choke it to death and eat it if you had nothing else to sustain yourself.
