Just a wonderful video of a Holocaust survivor and his family.

I mean, I don't want to sound like a 90 year old fuddy duddy here but even with a survivor taking part I just feel it's in poor taste to be dancing on the site where anywhere between 1.5 and 2.2m (depending on which estimates you believe) perished, especially dancing in the areas where the selections took place and families were torn from each others' arms and women and children and the elderly were marched to immediate death upon arrival.

I'm quite the dilettante. Nazi Germany and WW2 in general are subjects I take much interest in especially and I have a near encyclopedic knowledge of the former so maybe I just have a more impassioned opinion on this, maybe even an overly sensitive opinion.


Also the guy didn't look too comfortable in the video.

Aw man, you just had to put that thought in my head and ruin it for me

I'll be pissed if it turns out he's suffering from dementia or something and the kids forced him into it. I really hope that the kids proposed the idea and he did it to give a long overdue middle finger to Hitler.
