Yeah it was

First time for the two little ones and they both caught a bluegill, which, btw, are as tasty as perch but a bitch to clean.

Then they quit and played with worms and minnows. the little one was walking around with an nightcrawler and asked me if he could take it home and one time had 8 minnows in his hand

Lost a lot of bites while taking care of the kids but it didn't matter.

Got some greatpics of them & dads getting into it fishing off a pier looking back towards the city and the sun just rising

I'm on it brother. Few perch, few walleye in the cooler today after a nice morning on the lake. The buddy I went with brought in a 32", 10.5lb walleye that the guy at the bait store said better be mounted and not eaten. One of the biggest walleye he's seen come out of the lake in 20 years of doing what he do.

More fish to come too.

We'll have to fry up the perch and cook the walleye on the grill with the lemon and butter at summer's end.

You bring the beer.
