Not entirely sure why they have TO's but it seems as if it is the only time they can consult their coach. As well they have 73 minutes of throwing time, if you don't finish in that time you forfeit. Don't ask me where they come up with the round number of 73

I watched the entire match. It was on when Lisa left for the dentist's and it was still on when she got back. She then made it very clear that my credibility was shit should I make fun of her Bravo-watching ways.

And she had a valid point. But I got caught up in it.

Midgets and monkeys would definitely increase the interest but watching people crash and burn in whatever their chosen endeavor (like the hump who skippers the US team did) is interesting. Shuster kept spiraling further and further into an abyss of suck so deep and so sure to continue that I was hooked.

I agree, something about a skinny blonde chick from Denmark that is hot even with a slightly jacked up face. I kind of find the American team lacking in the looks department though which is disappointing. Besides the blonde chick there isnt alot to write home about.

Another awesome hockey game today between Switzerland and Norway. If you love watching Olympic hockey, this tournament has been an absolute treat.

NHL playoff hockey is similar. Not to this insane level, but it's similar. This is awesome for the sport right now.

One clear benchmark for a game not being a sport is if you can hold a beer and play at the same time, a la corhole and Bocce. And while some may argue you can't play curling with a beer in your hand, nothing screams "In no way am I a sport" more than a 6 month pregnant chick being a skilled participant.

There was an impressive move (by the Korean IIRC) in the medal race of short track last night. Went from 4th to 1st in a matter of half a turn without touching anybody.

I swear the one guy (taller guy, red uni, Canada?) has been getting totally humiliated this whole Olympics. Keeps getting nudged, pushed and ends up falling in every other race. I just don't see how any guy nearing 6' tall can compete in that event, unless they have unprecedented speed and get out front from the start.

They're played ok. But Miller's been a stud.
