Read on the news about the mail carrier in Maple Heights, delivering mail on his route, shot in the head, has died. What the hell is wrong with people today?

I also read where they've made an arrest in the shooting, some 19yo punk shot him in a robbery attempt.

Hope he has good veins when HE gets the big needle.

In looking at the housing market the last few months, I was always shocked to see Garfield and Maple houses so much cheaper than everything else. Knowing people with ties to those cities, I inquired. They said to stay out. It's getting bad. I had no idea...sometimes on work, I'd drive down Rockside from Independence into the city just to pass time, and it seems a bit run-down, but not terrible. But, yeah, I guess it's not a real safe place to be anymore, in either Garfield or Maple.

Who the eff tries to rob a mailman? I mean, what could he have possibly had on him that would make him a desirable target?

Usually, these low level robberies are performed to fund addictions to drugs (and gambling ).

Dude had a prior juve record and didn't meet with his parole officer. There was a warrant out for his arrest when he murdered this mailman.
