Saw this movie on Saturday and read Mitch's review today...
Incomplete?
I guess I can agree with that. I basically sat through this movie with the thought process of: "Who wrote this crap?"
Pretty to look at, nice action, but story? What story?
I really enjoyed the first Pirate movie and was looking for much more out of this one.
Empire Strikes Back, this is not.

How dare you compare this movie to The Empire Strikes Back. Shame on you. There will never be a sequel that holds up to this classic.
May the Force be with you

I thought it was pretty good and works as the "in between" for next's years 3rd installment.
I could agree with you on the storyline, but that's not why I'm watching the film, looking for a storyline. I wanted a good time and it delivered.
Maybe you need to watch the film with a 10 and 9 year old to enjoy it more!
It had laughs, a few scary moments, great CGA and gave us an additional 2+ hours with Captain Jack Sparrow.
