Did anyone watch this last night? 'Siren' is from Cleveland. She co-owns Octane Cafe on Euclid Ave in between east 6th and 9th Street

I passed by it oince or twice and was alarmed at how awful the Hulkster was. The show itself was just as bad. Not a bad 11pm Saturday night option on Spike, but horrific that a network opted for that in prime time.

I loved watching the old show....I honestly didn't catch much of the show last night. I heave heard terrible things about the Hulkster so far today. Sad to see where his career has gone

For some disturbing reason, I DVR'd it. Good to know I can wipe that two hours right off the memory. I'm behind as it is.

I watched it. All of it.

Recap:

Hogan is terrible, yet makes Ali appear bad.
The contestant interviews between events are classic.

Watch the first 10 minutes and the last 10.

In the first ten, I believe one of the chic contestants blew her ACL or tore a calf muscle or something pretty wrong. Doing that powerball game, she got slammed into a wall and her leg got all funky. She gt up, made it to the other end of the arena, before she got snipered and went down like she got chop blocked. Pretty good times.

In the last 10, in the eliminator between the chics, they have a part where you have to swim under fire. There are some pipes floating on the water to show them where they have to go under and the girl drilled her head on it trying to go underwater. Cut herself pretty good and tried to finish, but had about no cllue where she was.

Swerb, before deleting, check out those two events. Bill Simmons is going to add a new level to his unintentional comedy scale.

I thought it was horrible. The Eliminator is considerably harder, but just painful to sit through. Assault remains the best game, as it always has been.

I found the whole experience to be greatly diminished by the fact that I did not smoke my weight in marijuana before watching it as I did during the show's first incarnation.

However, it is roughly the same show, except no one is named, "Laser!"

I had it on in the background last night while doing things.....I loved the old show, and while this is not as good as the old one, it was nice to have it back on the air.

I do say, though, instead of just picking up with the show right where it left off and doing the same set, setup, challenges, etc.....I might have opted to have the show re-invent itself some.

Are a few of those guys from the old show? Sure seemed like it. I thought the powerball was awesome with the guys. Lots of HUGE hits.

Whats the deal with the "handbike" and that rolling barrel in The Eliminator?

It seems like it takes the contestants at least twice as long to actually do it as opposed to when they fall off and then just continue on their way.

I watched the first hour. I wanted to reach through the screen and kill that mega-douche Wolf. The pre event interviews are so bad I couldn't turn away. That dude Titan looks like the guy from that old duracell commercial- the plastic robot family known as the Puttermans. Creepy.
