I know you got the best CTown sports moments going right now but can you also have another running at the same time?

Let's get some movie stuff going, I'm pumped about the brackets being up and running.

Yes Donnie, I actually wanted to get with you on this exact point.

I will post more detail in this thread when I have more time later tonight.

Ok, I'll keep my eyes open.

..and do me a favor, it's Donny with a "y" not that faggy "ie" crap.

Not that a man's name ending in "y" is uber masculine but at with DonnIE you might as well call me Marie at that point.

:-) :)

Don, we can absolutely do more than one bracket at once. And I'd love to get a movie one going to complement the Greatest Cleveland Sports Moments one.

First movies bracket.

Best Movie Ever Made, 1970-2007? Pick a genre? Best actor/actress?

Well I have what I consider a fairly decent list of actors to toss into a bracket.64 of them to be exact, which means if you cut it down to 32 it is a real good list, and I have them kind of seeded, which is something tat could use another opinion like yours or Mitch to ensure some consistency and objectivity.

So I would say go actors first, since half the work is done.

Then maybe get into movies, like best for the 90's or decade "X' since it would only require going through a smaller pool of movies to choose from and see how it goes before tackling best ever or best of a genre?
Shit you can take it even further at some point and go with best roles IE: Nicholson as what his face in Cockoo's nest v Kathy Bates as Annie Wilks in Misery etc..

Are you limited to 32 seeds or can you expand to 64?

IMO at some point with movies you will need 64 spots, there is just so much to narrow down from.

Oh and one more thing with genres, it is not as easy as it sounds, b/c there are so many cross genre movies or multiple ones, like SOTL that is a drama, horror, thriller, and many of the Sci Fi ones are minimum 3 genres. So some give and take will be necessary.

If you want to go actors first I'll pass on the work I have done so far.

Actors first sounds good.

We can do brackets of 8, 16, 32, or 64 teams.

What I'd like to do is get a consensus on seeding, as it is crucial in getting the truest Final Four.

Lets do a 64 actor bracket. Lets use this forum for feedback on seeding. I'll post my actor list in here to help as well.
