I thought about it. How are the controls on the Wii? Is it just a timing thing with the swing or is there a way to control where you strike the ball? I've heard the pitching works quite well and I'm not sure about the defense.
Is there a season or career mode that allows for trades? They've advertised it as an arcade game, so I'm not sure how it works.
I liked what EA did with Madden for the Wii and am looking forward to NBA Live and the '08 Madden. I'm just wondering how The Bigs compares. I might rent it before dropping $50 on it.

I actually just saw a commercial for this on TV. It looks pretty cool because it reminds me of those old "Blitz" football games. I had some good times playing that on Nintendo 64.
My roommates have a Wii, so I may have to try and convince them to buy this one. Sports games on the Wii are great (especially the Tiger Woods game), so I doubt this one will be a disappointment.

Ther controls are fantastic but there isnt a true career mode. There is however the rookie challenge with alot of minigames similar to the newer madden games to boost your create a player. I wouldnt compare this to NFL Blitz but its a very cool game
