Fast Five

I'm sure there aren't many fans of the Fast & The Furious series around here, but if you want a guilty pleasure type movie with quite a bit of action, some solid dialogue, and no reason to think whatsoever, this is a pretty solid flick.

It has an Ocean's 11 type plot and vibe to it, but again, if you just want an action movie with nothing to do but sit back and watch, I'd recommend it.

I was surprised at how entertained I was by it. I've been a casual fan of the series, except I never watched Tokyo Drift cause I just assumed that one would suck. Beyond that, they haven't been awful movies, despite the fact that a good portion of the people in them can't act real well.

I'll never forget that the credits had just come on when I looked at the text from my buddy about bin Laden.

Yeah I saw this on opening night.

Yeah it is 100% guilty pleasure but the first ten minutes of fast 2 sold me forever on the franchise.

And they are all awful movies, don't front.

Get'chur self a jumbo hot buttered popcorn for this one. No acting, no skin, little dialog, minimum plot, 1 "Rock," 3 babes, 4 huge biceps, 17 cadavers...and approx. 57 collisions that waste a couple dozen street rods. Joe Bob says check it out.

Good dialogue is obviously relative in this sense.

A couple funny one-liners and they group giving each other shit.

Because 2011 has sucked dead donkey dicks when it comes to movies worth watching, and everyone's desperate for ANYTHING to amuse them.

Look for Thor to hit at least $125 million this coming weekend.

That was a beautiful, wonderful movie, there was absolutely no plot, a bunch of explosions, a bunch of guys got killed too...it had everything.

edit: only thing lacking was a topless scene with Jordanna Brewster.
