Is this the American version of the British original??
Or is it just a coincidence of titles?
if it's as good as the British version was in its first 3 seasons then marvellous for you Statesiders

I'm almost done with it. William H. Macy is just doing a class in over-acting and has no redeeming qualities. No reason anyone in the family would help him out with anything after everything he's done; just terrible despicable things even for a TV show. I almost turned it off when they found out he was opening credit cards in all the kids names and then all the kids dropped everything for the fake funeral and partied with him like everything was OK. The gratuitous nudity is definitely a redeeming quality but it can only help so much. I don't care about any of the kids except Lip. The funniest part of the show is probably Kevin the neighbor.
The show should be right up my alley. Just don't get what you and eeyore see.

Love this show. The writing is outstanding. The characters are being played really well.
I don't see WHM as overacting. It's the way that the character is written.

It's a real good show. Sunday's are back to being great with Californication and Shameless.

Agreed, actually liked Episodes more than I thought I would as well, which made for a nice 3some

Never watched Episodes, but Californication has the most spectacular collection of frontal nudity in the history of television. I mean really boner-inspiring stuff.

The last episode was probably the best so far. All the scenes with the Indian clerk were unwatchable until that confrontation. Great scenes with the kids and their mother and wonderful acting by Emmy Rossum at the end. WH Macy still terrible as usual. I know the shit he spews is supposed to be funny but the rants that he rambles off whenever he's confronted are just sad.
