No Vegas amigo. I played health roulette a couple months back and lost. I figure I'll try and take care of that nut first, talk about going to Vegas next year and then never follow up on it again til next March.
It always seems so far away when we talk about it while watching first round games and the next thing I know it's that time again.
One day...
Is all good with you? Hope so. Dawn good too? What days are the NCAA's here, Thurs-Sat or Fri-Sun?
PS- mom says FU but I swear she'd take ya back.

What Mother said. No need to do anything other than list your list. And FTR, I can't remember the last time I listened to NEO radio of any kind. I stan by hat I listen to because I like it.
And unless you've heard it you have no clue.![]()
Music's waaaaay to personal to expect right and wrong man. You like it or ya don't. Not like it's objective like using +/- to rank basketball players

Old guys like what old guys like (and you are old peeks).
NEO radio was good in the late 90's, FWIW.
Anyhow, this is just a bad thread idea. Bow and Hiko hit on at least 8 of my 10 amongst them (which is what I meant by the strong start). I would add a sould coughing album and my dick.
My overall point was that this thread was started by someone that has actually listened to a good amount of good music in the last 30 years.

- Black girl groups
- Anyone Black
- Anyone British until Oasis
- Any 50's One Hit Wonder
- Or you have to be in the extended Mt Rushmore or the absolute most influential groups ever
- Les Paul & Jann Wenner

I still seriously doubt that (you've probably never heard more than one track - if that - off of Lateralus or 10,000 Days) if you refer to that as Noise, kinda like the guy that says he doesn't like the Beatles b/c he heard I Wanna Hold Your Hand and thought it was faggy. But hey, that's your musical journey. Hate away.
Now, Rage... yeah, I can buy your argument more there. I enjoy them, but I can admit they're a one-trick pony and if you don't like that one trick, there isn't much anyone could offer to change your mind.

Whether you like punk, pop, or death metal, the radio is probably the last place to start.

I like Alice In Chains. But why is it always "Rooster"? Every time? Is this retroactive payola or something? God, I hate rock radio.
The Replacements got squat in terms of radio play. And if you don't think they were a great rock band, you're stupid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fl9KQ1Mub6Q

"Rock" defined as non-rap, got it. Although if you don't think Fear of a Black Planet or Death Certificate rocked the shit, you may have a gaping hole in your psyche. Not my problem.
[/quote]<reflecting> Yes, much softer than the perceived average TCF board poster. And an admittedly shallow list. I've learned something about myself through this introspective Q&A.
