Good tense, NY police drama directed by the dude that directed Training Day.
Richard Gere plays the cynical old cop 7 days away from retirement, Don Cheadle the undercover cop that gets in a little too deep in his undercover life, and Ethan Hawke the cash strapped grinder that's looking for some dirty $$ to get his wife and kids out of a shitty house infested with mold. Wesley Snipes as a drug lord just outta prison that Cheadle's gotta set up.
Good acting from all of the main guys. Especially Gere. Well directed. All set in Brooklyn. Camera work was really good .. built the suspense. Not as good as Training Day ... but well worth the two hour and 15 minute investment.
Enjoyed it.

Didn't really like this movie. It was too over the top for me and it dragged on and on.
Everyone who got shot had some dramatic shot of them with blood coming from their mouths. It was cool the first time but not everytime someone gets shot.

Lots of gratuitious nudity. It gets 4 boners on my scale.

If you have to be stoned for a movie to be good then it's probably not very good.

I'll bet you're fun to hang out with.
I got this one rule. I never go out with girls who say "bitchin'".

Maybe in North Korea..... or some other funless dictatorship (which is bullshit, implying that there where pro fun dictatorships.).
Listen to me Randy, it doesn't matter if you're white, or black, or a Sasquatch even. As long as you follow your dreams, no matter how crazy or against the law it is. Except for Sasquatch, if you're a Sasquatch the rules are different.- Meatwadhttp://www.wolf-pac.com/
