Need PS3 HELP!!

Unread postby dem425 » Mon Mar 15, 2010 12:33 pm

I have a 2-year old PS3 40G. It has been working perfectly....THEN, two weeks ago, the Playstation Network took a shit and a day later was back online. Since the meltdown, my PS3 has been "Hiccupping" at certain times, jerking and jumping around. Doesn't do it all the time, but it has NEVER happened prior to the Network meltdown.

Two questions:

1. Anybody else experienced this and if so, what did you do?

2. Is there any routine maintenance on the PS3 a computer bozo like me should be doing?

Thanks for all your help...........

Is the problems only when you're online?

If so it's most likely a network issue.

Xbox Live had a stretch where it would disconnect you while playing and it had simuilar lag issues.

Did you by chance use your PS3 when the network crashed? I know Sony said not to use your PS3 until the problem was fixed.

Mine has been fine since the network has been back up and I got mine back on the original release date.

Might wanna just check with their support.
