What do you think is the most annoying commerical on tv (currently playing), not including local commericals.

I am going to have to go with that annoying bit$% on the progressive insurance commericals.

2nd would be all the Luke Wilson AT&T rollover commercials. HE is just as bad in commericials as he is movies.

The damned Kit Kat commercial with the obnoxious snapping and crunching sounds. Hands down. I want to break my TV anytime that comes on and I can't mute it or change the channel fast enough.

But the new Staples commercial with the dude freaking out over every low price is quickly giving Kit Kat a run for its money.

Oh and anything Geico.

Really, I'm praying that one of the robbers kills the guy with the cellphone at the end. What a self-absorbed dickhead.

Also, any Direct TV commerical for that matter, so damn smug and arrogant, they'd make a Steeler fan blush. "a-ha-hand you couldn't see it because you had cable..". Not my fault the NFL hasn't figured out that it's stupid to limit themselves to people with Satelites which by the way only really work if you live in a place with very little in terms of weather activity and are only really practical when you're out in the boonies. Thank God for illegal online streams of games though. :).

I agree that those freecreditreport.com stink badly. They have no talent but the songs are even worse.

But to me, the commercials using the Beatles "All You Need is Love" is a million times worse because:

1) the sellout of taking a generation song of love and peace and hacking some product with it

2) the impossibility of taking a great song and f-ing it up soooo bad. the guy cant sing, the composition of the song is worse. Gives me a migrain everytime I see and hear it. AND I seem to see and hear it a lot since its a sponser of the channels /shows I watch.

I thought about this one but then I realized that I actually stop FF just to watch it. When she get's scared by the thunderclsp and he gives her the old "It's OK baby, daddy's here." it's the highest of high comedy. I love it. SO how can I call it annoying?

winner winner chicken dinner. This one. Most annoying for sure. The worst version is where they are all congregating in some kind of subway tunnel and having some kind of weird dance off for people who normal society has rightfully shunned.

Yeah Motherscrather I can see how many of these commercials are funny. The ones you listed, I posted, and the Just for Men commercials actually are quite funny, and killed me the first 10+ times I saw them. It is only after seeing them 100+ times that the cornball funny over the top aspect is lost, and replaced by a douche chill...

Can someone please explain those ridiculous tax settlement commercials. How does the IRS settle for pennies on the dollar? Why am I paying full value?! I fear the IRS and the US Government more than I fear my imminent death due to liver failure.

Sure, I can explain it: they are just scamming people for their money. They charge some fee to fill out some paperwork, which anyone could do, with no hope of anything happening.

The IRS isn't settling with you unless they know they can't collect their money before the statute of limitations is up. And they will only settle towards the end. Maybe you work out a deal to pay them off on the installment plan and they let you live a very meager life.
