Trying to identify a movie....help?

Unread postby JCoz » Thu Oct 08, 2009 11:09 pm

Ok, I only have vague details of one scene, I think if you've seen it you'll know it, but I can't fucking remember the movie. the small details I have dont bring anything up googling.

The movie in my recollection is a action/comedy type.

Someone is buying a gun, the key to the scene (the guy you'd remember) is a 14-16 year old black kid selling the pieces. He knows everything about his guns, and is rattling off the specs and description of the models he has available at about 90 miles an hour.

I know that sounds like nothing but if you've seen it you'd remember.

I THINK its a movie of the pulp fiction/lock stock/ Snatch ilk.... but I'm not positive. Maybe 10 years old max.

Hopefully someone knows, it driving me nuts trying to remember the movie title.
"I won’t tell you exactly what it’s about, but this is typical of what might happen,'' he said. "I said, ‘Tom, do you want to do this?’ He said, ‘I don’t think I do. I think it’s too much or too strong or whatever.’ I said, ‘well, we might have to.’ And he goes, ‘well, if we have to, then you’ve got to tell me, because I won’t do it.’ And I said, ‘OK, then I might have to tell you. Fine.'''

I know man, its pretty brutal. But I am telling you someone would recognize it from that stupid little snipet if they'd recently seen it.

I know how it reads....

"ever see that movie with that guy who did that one thing that one time?"

Was Meryl Streep the one buying the gun from the Black kid?
