Probably stopping at the theater on my walk home from work....

Early reviews rock... more to come...

(even though judging by the activity back here I am the only person here going to see any of the quality movies out there at the moment)

Why didn't you bump my awesome thread? I see how it is.

I love Zombie movies, this looks hilarious. Woody Harelson was a good choice.

Damn, I never start dupe threads, I must have forgotten about your thread due to all of the awesome other pillars of entertainment in here....

Woody is the perfect choice, will be real interested in seeing if this can overtake Shaun of The Dead.

Doubtful, but maybe.

And I have not read said book, but It's title rings a really familiar bell.

Okay, most genuine fun I have had at a movie possibly ever.

12 out of 10 on the fun scale...

Make Jennifer's Body look like a 2.

See it, soon and relish in it.

One of the opening deaths sets the stage for the fun.

Damn predictable and not deep at all, but really really effing fun (and the best Zombie deaths ever in a movie).

Won't ruin anything since no one else is actually going to the movies, but this is worth the ride (and not for the faint of heart gore wise).

I would even venture to say it shits on Shaun of the Dead.

Need to think about it for awhile before I put that in stone, but I am real close to saying that.

Talked me into it.

I still want to watch "Whip It" at some point...but probably not at the theater, and not for reviewing.

Given how bad last weekend was with the Browns sucking, and watching the awful "Surrogates", I NEED a good movie to go see.

So how bad was Surrogates? The plot perked my ears up a bit, but my friends tell it's unwatchable garbage.

Going to see Zombieland Sunday night. Can't wait, the trailers look great.

Finished the review a few days ago...Swerb will post it sometime this weekend.

1 Football...Derek Anderson level bad. And Bruce Willis was actually pretty decent in it.

Recently saw it. Awesome and hilarious. I haven't laughed at the movies that hard when BM was shot in a loooooong time.

I wouldn't say it completely shits on Shaun of the Dead; both (Zombieland will be) are great and classics.

Can I take my 13 year old?

I dont mind some rough language, not every other word the f-bomb.

Nudity? I know it will be violent but realistic violence?? Don't mind over the top type.

Thought this might be a try for his 1st R rated movie with the old man?

Yes? No?

Well, I don't have kids... but I think it's a pretty good first R-rated movie. It's overall coating is COMEDY. I honestly don't remember any blatant nudity. Profanity, yea here and there, not too crazy though... if I remember correctly.

If you want to give your kid a great first R-rated flick, I don't think you can go wrong with Zombieland. Just make sure you go over who Bill Murray is first, if he doesn't know already.

There was no nudity. Well, except for that naked zombie stripper running in slowmotion after some guy. Oh and are you freakin nuts? Don't take a kid to see this movie lol. There are a lot of F bombs and a TON of blood. yikes.

I don't know... the kid is, what, 13? And if I'm his father, I'd want to give him the best first R-rated film trip ever. And I believe Zombieland would make for a great one. My son would think I'm the best dad ever. I'd let him know that despite the blood, gore, and language, I trust he's old enough to realize that past all that is a fantastic comedy.

idk, just me.

Just saw it, A FUCKING +. That movie was fun all the way from start to finish, hilarious, bloody and the BM cameo was so awesome. Never got to see it in the theater, but there's a really solid DivX torrent. Audio- 8 Video- 9. I agree, better than Shaun Of The Dead.

If you want the link to the Torrent just PM me.

*Spoiler*

Just saw it and I thought it was a decent flick. Could had been longer.

But without the Bill Murray sceen, idk if I would had liked Zombieland. I think he kinda saved the movie. Too bad he was shot tho.
