Before you throw me under the bus, I just purchased a Nintendo Wii for my KIDS. But holy shit... this system is very cool! I'm having total flashbacks playing Zelda. And this interactive sports game disc is flippin pretty solid as well. It has Baseball,Golf,Tennis,Boxing and Bowling. These are very cool games and would also be cool if you enjoy as myself and wife do, game nights. I want to go get a PS3 in the next day or two, but I'm having second thoughts because of my love for Tom Clancy games. So does anyone play 360? I'm a diehard PS fan but would like some feedback before I make up my mind.

Yeah, Wii is pretty cool, but this time around with the new systems I decided to only get one instead of all three. Well, that plus I have kids now and my free time is taking up a lot with this site.

But, I do have the 360. Got it for Xmas. An unbelievable system. I used to be a loyal Playstation owner until I got an Xbox....it is definitely a more adult oriented system, and the Xbox exclusive games like Halo, Gears of War, and others are incredible. What I love about my 360, is I can download movies off the net, and then stream them from my computer to the 360 and play them on my TV in virtually perfect picture. This made my wife very happy upon learning this.

PS3 is awesome too, from what I have seen, but I don't believe it is worth the $500-600 pricetag, especially when you consider the 360 software library being almost twice the size. Plus, the exclusive games on Xbox are better, at least to me. The only game I will miss on PS3 is the Metal Gear series, but that always gets rolled over to the other systems a few months later anyway, so I'll still be able to get it on 360 at some point. Can't say the same for games like Halo. They are only on 360 and never go anywhere else.

BTW, I almost got a Wii as well because I wanted to play that new Zelda game that every mag is raving about, but found out the Gamecube version was exactly the same (minus the use of the nanchuck controller on the Wii). So got the Gamecube version. Haven't played it yet, but hope to crack it open soon (playing Halo 2 on-line and Gears of War right now when I have free time).

Thanks T! I'm still torn on this. The Wii is basicly for the Kids, well kinda sorta . I believe it also plays game cube games if you ever decide to upgrade. Zelda is just so much different with the nanchuck, its unreal. Next family fuction I will bring it for the kids.

LOL. Would definitely add more fun to family get-togethers. Wish my kids were a little older so I could use the excuse of "hey, let's get the Wii for Nick." I have a little while before that one will fly.

I'll tell you what, with Indica I was always like "wait til she's older", but TJ is way beyond his years. Believe it or not I think letting him starting to game early has helped him with hand-eye so much faster. I dont know to many 6 yr olds who can hit the 55mph cage like he does. So basicly from experience dont underestimate what Nick can do, like we did with our 1st.
